PRIVATE TODDLER THERAPY

If you know your toddler is not meeting his communication milestones, some 1:1 therapy might just be what you need to set your mind at ease. Together with your input, we will determine appropriate communication goals and strategies to help get your toddler talking.

  • The focus of toddler therapy is to meet your toddler where he is at and use evidence-based strategies to take his communication to the next level.

    Parent coaching is a huge part of success so be prepared to jump on the ground with your toddler and learn simple ways to engage and promote

    language.

    I want you to feel confident and be able to do all of the things that will help your child’s language soar.

HAPPY BABY TALK - THE COURSE

If your baby is between 4 and 14 months, this is the place for you. Get practical, easy-to-follow tips and handouts to understand what you can do at home to encourage your baby’s communication development

Life with a baby is busy. The lessons in Happy Baby Talk - The Course are designed to walk you through the tips and ideas that you can do at home to encourage early language development and you can do all of this, on your own time.

BABY COMMUNICATION CLASSES

Let’s Play! In these baby’s classes, you will get information about how communication develops and lots of tips and ideas of things that you can do during your daily routines to promote language development.

In small groups led by an SLP, you will learn about babbling, imitation, gestures, first words, how to read to your baby to encourage language development, play ideas, with and without toys, the importance of social skills and a lot MORE

  • We will talk about ALL things communication like having two languages at home, screen time, using pacifiers, sign language and MORE.

    It takes a VILLAGE so have fun connecting with other moms and babes to learn AND get all of your questions answered by an SLP.

    Babies ages: 5 - 13 months

    Duration: 45-minute sessions - weekly for 4 weeks.

    Classroom: 4-6 Families, In-Person

COMMUNICATION ASSESSMENT

Not sure if your baby’s communication is on track? That is OK. A communication assessment is a comprehensive look at your baby’s language development.

This play-based assessment will look at the big picture of language development including social skills, play skills, understanding of language and use of language both verbal and non-verbal. If I think your baby would benefit from physiotherapy or occupational therapy, I will help you with those connections.

  • A comprehensive look at where the babies/toddlers' language is at. I will come to you because, with babies and toddlers, I want to see them in their own environment

    The assessment includes parent questionnaires so that you can share what you see ( after all, you know your babe best)

    Your baby/toddler will have FUN in a play-based assessment with me interacting and with me observing you interact; both are important parts of building the communication picture

    The goal is to determine where your baby’s communication is at and talk “next steps” for language learning; you will also get some 1:1 coaching in this session

    Duration: Approximately 120 mins

  • Do you live too far away? That is ok. I am well-versed in assessing babies virtually, so distance is not an issue.

    There are some wonderful benefits to seeing a baby in their own environment and observing their interactions during playtime with their caregiver.
