SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I have always worked with babies and toddlers. It’s been over 20 years. I even had three babies and toddlers myself….who are “big kids now”.

I have worked at some fabulous places and my last stops were at SickKids and Mount Sinai Hospital, in Toronto on the Neonatal Developmental Follow-Up Team. I loved all of it!!

What I know for sure is that early communication develops in back-and-forth interactions.

It’s ALL about those LITTLE MOMENTS of connection for your baby's development and who better to do the connecting than YOU!!

Parents can learn ALL of the practical ideas and tips to use every day long before there is a concern about their babies' language development. I want parents to be confident in knowing that what they are doing every day is making a DIFFERENCE

This fuelled my desire to start Happy Baby Talk, a place for moms to gather in person or virtually and learn all of the fun ways to engage with their babies and toddlers to BEST promote communication, social skills and the development of play skills.

That’s right, nothing extra in your busy day, just ways of interacting and connecting that make a difference to your baby's language development and so much more.
